Poinsettias

Anbody decorate for the holidays using real poinsettias? I've hear that they are toxic to pets. Is this true?

I like to put them outside next to my front door, one on each side. I don't know if they are toxic to pets.

I've heard its a misconception about poinsettias being toxic. I just did a search on it.Wikipedia is saying that if a child or pet injests it, they will have an episode of diarrhea or vomitting. I don't think it poisonous where it could cause death.
