Your favorite edible plant

Does anybody have any edible plants in their yard. if so, which one is your favorite

We used to have a neighbor that grew peppermint and made tea out of it. Thats an easy plant to grow

Sassafrass is my favorite. :) It makes for a great tea. It's also a good backyard plant because it repells bugs and mosquitos.

I don't have any edible plants(as fas as I know) in my current backyard. When I was a child, our house had berry trees in the backyard. We used to pick and eat the blackberries all the time. My father used to know a lot about th em and which ones wer okay to eat. Unfortunately I'm not knowledgable about them enough to eat them or let my kids eat them if I saw a berry tree.
