I thought I would ask what kind of lawn mower you have? We have a regular one. I don't think our property really calls for a ride-on but sometimes I wish I had one. I'm sure I could get done mowing alot quicker

I'm laughing at this post because our property would be way too small to consider a ride-on.

I vote ride-on if you can afford it and if your property is big enough. My town used to be an old mill town. There are a lot of multi-family houses that used to house millworkers and their families. Therefore, the lot sizes are not that big. So, no ride-on for me

Probably anything over a half acre would be reasonable to get a riding mower. Less than that you should be able to push it fairly easily (or hire a lawncare company to come do it for you).
A riding mower can cost up to $2,000 or more, and you can usually hire someone to mow your lawn for about $30 a week, so you wouldn't really be saving much money buying a big mower and doing it yourself. Plus if you hired it out, you wouldn't have to DO the work at all!
