Hello all,
Does anyone have any suggestions for some nice advanced trees/shrubs that won't grow any taller than 1.5m? Hopefully, in the pic attached you'll the construction of the water-feature and planter boxes in my backyard. The planter boxes themselves are about 2m (long) x 35cm (width) x 35cm (depth)...the other is about 1.5m (long). I'm thinking of putting two trees/shrubs in the longer planter box and one in the shorter box.
The environment is pretty much full sun until early afternoon when the back fence starts to block out the western sun. Soil...well living in Perth, it's sand, has very little nutrient value, so suggestions for improving the soil which will match the plant(s) would be appreciated.
An idea of price would be good too. I was thinking along the lines of a ficus, but I don't really want to pay anymore than say $150 per plant.
