GM flowers

Hello people, hope you can help me make a decision. I'm designing my back yard, and the end result is going to be a series of raised beds, with bright colourful flowers, with breeds picked to ensure there's always something flowering from spring through to winter. The dilemma I have is whether to go for traditional breeds, or risk genetically modified plants. I don't really know much about GM flowers, and I'm concerned about adding unnecessary chemicals in my garden.

You can use GM flowers without fear of adding chemicals. GM flowers are just plants that have been selectively bred, and had their DNA altered to remove weaknesses, and enhance colour, length of flowering etc.
