Next year I'm definitely getting a professional company to work with my lawn. I'm really not happy wth how my lawn is looking this year. It also seems like I've been dedicating a lot of my spare time to it and not getting the results I want. I'm sure it's too late in the season to get anyone now. Better luck next year.

I bet it's not too late to call someone. You can probably get a contract started for the fall. The fall is a big time for landscapers. Many do aerating, fertilizing, general cleanup, etc...

I agree with Patrick. It's not too late to call a few companies and get some quotes.

I may even give up on doing my lawn too and hire a landscape company. I'm finding that in the Southern heat, I'm not experienced enough in keeping my lawn looking good. All of this red clay and lack of rain is making things difficult for me.
