Seriously dry

My lawn is so dry and I'm starting to get a lot of brown patches. I haven't mowed in almost two weeks which is unusual for this time of year. But it's so dry here in the South that nothing is growing. I keep watering but I don't feel like I'm getting ahead. I wish it was just rain. I can't remember the last time we had a good rain.

I know the summer can be a tough time. Have you tried contacting a lawn care company for advice or asked at a home and garden store. I'm sure someone there will be able to offer some suggestions for you.

It seems as though it's a real hot, dry summer all around for most of the states.

This summer has been extra hot for most and it's only July. I hope things don't get worse in August.
