Herb garden

I'd like to start a small herb gardent his year. I'm a first timer. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions? I only want to pick about 2-4 different herbs to start. I don't want to get in over my head.

Definitely start out small and only pick a couple of basic herbs that you want to grow. Then next year you can always grow more.
