Organic lawncare

My wife and I would like to start using only organic stuff on our lawn. Does anyone have any experience with it and how hard is it to get your lawn looking nice without chemicals?

It does take a little more effort to get things going but in the end its all worth it not to have chemicals on your lawn. There are tons of resources on the net if you run into any problems with insects and other pests. There are so many companies that specialize in alternatives to treat those issues.
